Composição de Fotorrealismo
Trabalho académico, que tinha como objetivo criar um objeto fotorrealista de raíz, onde este fizesse parte de uma composição, com base da aprendizagem do software Adobe Photoshop, sendo que este devesse apresentar um aspeto fotográfico de representação artística sublinhando a importância clara e evidente da distinção das diferentes materialidades e texturas, brilhos, sombras, transparências e reflexos.

Fotomontagem Surrealista
Trabalho académico, onde o objetivo foi criar com a técnica de fotomontagem entre outras usando o software do Adobe Photoshop, uma ilustração original de cariz surrealista baseada num clássico da literatura infantil. Nesta composição cabe á ilustração explorar os campos inacessíveis à fotografia, na construção de metáforas visuais de cariz mais lírico, simbólico, e até onírico, com referência às obras da artista digital Maggie Taylor.

Academic work, where the objective was to create, with the technique of photomontage among others, using Adobe Photoshop software, an original illustration of a surrealist nature based on a classic of children's literature. In this composition, it is up to the illustration exploring the fields inaccessible to photography, in the construction of visual metaphors of a more lyrical, symbolic, and even dreamlike nature, with reference to the works of digital artist Maggie Taylor.

"The Piper of the Endless Cycle"
A mensagem e metáfora que eu tento transmitir nesta ilustração com base no conto do Flautista de Hamelin, é que a sociedade ou seja grande parte das pessoas no mundo, dão demasiado valor ao dinheiro fazendo disso o principal objetivo delas, esquecendo-se de viver a vida e aproveitar coisas mais importantes e essenciais para a vida do ser humano, dando assim maior importância ao materialismo e fazendo assim uma sociedade viciada no capitalismo.
Aqui na imagem o flautista acaba por ser representado por um rato em vez de um humano que tem o aspeto da famosa caricatura do homem capitalista, gordo e rico, onde à sua volta tem sacos cheios de dinheiro, e até da sua flauta produz ainda mais dinheiro. Os meninos hipnotizados pela flauta são a sociedade avarenta em busca do dinheiro, onde as suas caras transmitem a sua ânsia por ele.

The message and metaphor that I try to convey in this illustration, based on the tale of the Pied Piper of Hamelin, is that society, or a large part of the people in the world, give too much value to money, making it their main objective, forgetting to live the life and take advantage of more important things essential for the life of human beings, thus giving greater importance to materialism and thus making a society addicted to capitalism.
Here in the image, the flutist ends up being represented by a mouse instead of a human, which looks like the famous caricature of the capitalist, fat and rich man, where around him he has bags full of money, and even his flute produces even more money. The boys hypnotized by the flute are the avaricious society in search of money, where their faces convey their hunger for it.
